VPCH is guided by a volunteer Board that provides governance, oversight, and long-range stewardship for our affordable housing mission.
The Board helps set strategic direction, oversees organizational accountability, and supports VPCH's work as a private non-profit housing provider serving communities across Southern Ontario.
Day-to-day operations are led by VPCH staff. The Board's role is governance: mission, policy, risk, financial stewardship, and accountability to the corporation's purpose.
Keeps VPCH's nonprofit purpose, housing dignity, and resident impact at the centre of strategic decisions.
Reviews organizational performance, risk, reporting, and long-term sustainability for homes and communities.
Supports accountable policies, transparent decision-making, and compliance with corporate responsibilities.

Board Chair
Hamilton-based architect focused on developing complete communities anchored on affordable and accessible housing. Joined the Board in 2021 and currently serves as Chair, with an architectural practice grounded in collaboration and human-centered design for Ontario healthcare projects.
Vice-Chair
Technology startup founder and former urban planner. Joined the Board in 2023 and now serves as Vice-Chair, bringing experience in sustainable development, alternative energy, and innovation hubs across Toronto, London, and Asia.
VPCH welcomes community-minded people with skills in housing, finance, governance, development, nonprofit leadership, and resident services.
Treasurer
Long-serving Board member who previously held Chair and Vice-Chair roles from 2015–2020 and returned to the Board in 2021. Currently serves as Treasurer and leads VPCH engagement with elected and appointed officials at all levels of government.
Secretary
Hamilton resident who joined the Board in 2021 and has served as Secretary since 2022. Senior Manager of Sustainability at Skyline Group of Companies, supporting environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and corporate governance.
Director
Hamilton resident who joined the Board in 2022. Brings 15+ years of progressive human-services and nonprofit leadership across developmental services, human resources, and nonprofit operations.

Hamilton resident who joined the Board in 2023. Brings three decades of experience in hospitality, banking, and wealth management across Dubai, Geneva, and Toronto, with an MBA from Anglia Ruskin and hospitality training in Switzerland.

Previously served on the Board from 2016–2021 and rejoined in 2023. Lawyer with Iler Campbell LLP, advising charities, non-profits, and non-profit housing providers on governance, human resources, and human rights matters.

Commercial banker focused on real estate and development finance, leading a team that manages a $1B loan portfolio. Hamilton-based with a commitment to downtown revitalization; serves as an Executive Board Member for the Downtown Hamilton BIA.

Returned to the Board in 2025 after previously serving from 2014–2019 as Secretary and Vice-Chair. Brings 25+ years of senior leadership in the non-profit and health/social-services sectors, plus extensive volunteer board experience.

Long-time Hamilton resident, retired, who previously served on the Board from 2015–2020 including four years as Secretary. Rejoined the Board in 2024 after a career in long-term care and social services.

Hamilton resident since 2024 and a bilingual international arbitration specialist, serving as Head of Domestic and International Arbitration at Provenance Advocates LLP. Brings 15+ years in commercial arbitration, mediation, and cross-border legal advisory, including a decade as Secretary General of the GECAM Mediation and Arbitration Centre in Cameroon, where he administered 150+ cases under OHADA rules. Holds the ACIArb, Q.Arb, and Accredited Neutral designations and is a PhD Candidate at Université Toulouse 1 Capitole.
