Welcome to Victoria Park Community Homes.
This section is intended to provide you with the information that you will need to plan for a successful move in.
We are excited that you have chosen Victoria Park property as your new home and in preparation for your move in, our staff is making sure that your unit is in working order, preventatively treated for pests if necessary, and cleaned.
On the day that you pick up your keys, we will:
- Make sure that all of the items from the ‘Before you move in Checklist’ are completed
- Walkthrough the unit together and document the condition of the unit (we take photos of the units prior to move in for our records)
- Answer any questions and provide you with a Welcome To the Village Package
On move in day:
- Park your moving truck in front of the building only while you are moving. Any helpers should use the Visitor’s Parking Lot.
- Moving boxes should be flattened before they are dropped off to our Recycling Room.
- Garbage should be thrown away using the garbage chute rooms on your floor.
